The Nursery School
The nursery school is one of the most important times in a child’s schooling. This is the child’s first contact with the school system and it is the opportunity to learn not only the basics of school but above all how to “live together” with others. The Groupe Scolaire Alimatou currently offers only one nursery school class, but as of the next opening, we will have 3 different classes based on age.
To better prepare your children for primary school, we have a qualified and experienced teacher who is present full time, as well as interns throughout the year, as assistants.
During these early years, students learn to recognize sounds and letters. But they also have time to play!
Each month your child’s notebook or workbook is given to you so that you can look at it with him/her. This allows you to get an idea of what your child is learning or discovering in school.
At the end of the year, a “success book” is sent to you in which you will find what your child has learned during the year.
The Primary School
The primary school is currently made up of 4 classes CP1, CP2, CE1 et CE2) taught by 4 full-time teachers. Next year, 2 additional classes will also be made available.
The Groupe Scolaire Privé Alimatou teaches a curriculum according to that established by the National Board of Education.
